ABOUT

Ken Wallace is a Grammy Award winning recording producer, arranger, and mix engineer with credits on notable Gold and Platinum albums. Ken is also an Emmy nominated TV composer. In his formative years while growing up on Long Island, NY, Ken played keyboards, sang lead and background vocals, performing live in the surrounding local and New York City club scene. His live performance talents opened touring engagements with many legendary recording artists such as Sister Sledge, Grace Jones, Gloria Gaynor, Shalimar, Jodie Wately, Chubby Checker, Debarge, Andrea True Connection and others. Ken later opened his own writing studio, Ian London Productions and began composing music for television. Ken’s Emmy nominated work includes underscoring, sound design, themes, and jingles. Ken particularly enjoys recording a live rhythm section and full ensemble at his studio. He says, "It's more challenging and rewarding to make a better sounding live recording, capturing as much of a musician’s personality in a session.        His emphasis is always on accurate mic techniques, unique room effects, and creating an environment that allows an artist to give their very best performance.

Studio Policy

  • A deposit will be required to confirm all studio bookings. Such a deposit shall be equal to 50% of the cost of the total quoted time booked.

  • Deposit must be received ten days prior to session reserves the right to waive such deposit requirement in its unfettered discretion.

  • Notice of a client's intent to cancel a session must be received by no later than 72 hours (3 days) before such session. If notice is not received the client shall be liable for the cost of one half of the time booked.

  • Client's deposit as stated above may be applied by in partial satisfaction of such liability. Sessions cancelled the same day as the scheduled session will be liable for the total cost of the booked time.

  • The amount of unused time booked will be charged to the client irrespective of client's failure to arrive for a session on time or if the client must leave the session early, or if the session is completed before the booked time has expired. There is a 3-hour minimum for all sessions.

  • Session times begin at scheduled time. If the client is late or unprepared, time will still start as scheduled. To avoid this, please arrange to arrive early.

  • Digital Recordings, the studio is not responsible for Client session backup Files. Client must ask for backup files. Recommended Hard Drive or DVD for session backup. This ensures the client has a copy of their session in their possession for their own personal safety, after each session. Due to Technical problems that may happen in the digital world.
