ABOUT

Ken Wallace is a Grammy Award-winning producer, arranger, and mix engineer, renowned for his contributions to Gold and Platinum albums. An Emmy-nominated TV composer, Ken's versatile talent shines across multiple facets of the music industry.

Growing up on Long Island, NY, Ken's early years were defined by his passion for live performance. As a keyboardist and vocalist, he became a fixture in the local and New York City club scenes, he played keyboards for iconic artists such as Sister Sledge, Grace Jones, Gloria Gaynor, Shalimar, Jodie Watley, Chubby Checker, Debarge, and Andrea True Connection.
Driven by a deep love for music, Ken founded Ian London Productions, transitioning into composing for television. His Emmy-nominated work includes underscoring, sound design, themes, and jingles, showcasing his diverse skill set.
One of Ken's true passions lies in capturing the essence of live music. He thrives on the challenge of recording live rhythm sections and full ensembles, striving to capture the unique personality of each musician. With a focus on precise mic techniques, innovative room effects, and creating an inspiring studio environment, Ken is dedicated to bringing out the best in every artist he works with.

Studio Policy

  • A deposit will be required to confirm all studio bookings. Such a deposit shall be equal to 50% of the cost of the total quoted time booked.

  • Deposit must be received ten days prior to session reserves the right to waive such deposit requirement in its unfettered discretion.

  • Notice of a client's intent to cancel a session must be received by no later than 72 hours (3 days) before such session. If notice is not received the client shall be liable for the cost of one half of the time booked.

  • Client's deposit as stated above may be applied by in partial satisfaction of such liability. Sessions cancelled the same day as the scheduled session will be liable for the total cost of the booked time.

  • The amount of unused time booked will be charged to the client irrespective of client's failure to arrive for a session on time or if the client must leave the session early, or if the session is completed before the booked time has expired. There is a 3-hour minimum for all sessions.

  • Session times begin at scheduled time. If the client is late or unprepared, time will still start as scheduled. To avoid this, please arrange to arrive early.

  • Digital Recordings, the studio is not responsible for Client session backup Files. Client must ask for backup files. Recommended Hard Drive or DVD for session backup. This ensures the client has a copy of their session in their possession for their own personal safety, after each session. Due to Technical problems that may happen in the digital world.
